Nahoya Kawata, aka Smiley, has a Yamaha RZ250 as his favourite bike.

The RZ250 was also known as high speed motorcycle and the RZ350 as the defeating 750cc bikes, and they were very popular because they could beat the big bikes.

The RZ350 was very popular not only as a general-purpose bike but also as a gang’s bike, and the 2-stroke engine’s acceleration and loud exhaust sound made it ideal for gangs.

There are very few scenes of Nahoya Kawata, a.k.a. Smiley, on a motorbike, so there are very few scenes of him riding the RZ250 in the story.

However, this bike is very active in the fight, such as running over the soldiers of Tenjiku with “RZ250” and kicking them to death.

Of course he ran low speed at that time, no one died at all. lol

Running over the Tenjiku guys (Vol. 15, chapter 126)

Smiley’s RZ250 makes its first appearance in chapter 126 of volume 15 of the manga.

In this scene, the Tenjiku soldiers from Yokohama attacked all at once, and Takemichi and his friends were surrounded by dozens of them.

As Takemichi and his friends were on the verge of death, Smiley and Angry appeared and ran over the Tenjiku soldiers (no one died).

Going out to fight at the Tenjiku hideout (Vol. 15, chapter 127)

In the 127th chapter of the 15th volume of the manga, Smiley and Angry led the way to Yokohama to visit Tenjiku’s hideout.

This is the first time we see Smiley riding his RZ250 properly.

By the way, Takemichi in the back is wearing a helmet, but Smiley is driving without helmet as usual.
