A scene that shows Mikey’s strength in Tokyo Revengers! His kick is too strong!

Let’s take a closer look at Mikey’s fight record, which we have just listed, fight by fight.

As you can see from the list, Mikey is so strong that when he fights, it’s almost always with one blow.

Mikey beats Masataka Shimizu(Kiyomasa) (Volume 1, chapter 4)

The first time Mikey showed his unbelievable strength was in chapter 4 of the 1st volume of the manga, when he took on Kiyomasa (Masataka Shimizu), the organiser of the “underground fighting”.

Mikey’s front kick hit Kiyomasa clean on the chin and he fainted at the first shot, and then Mikey followed up with another kick to beat him up completely.

Incidentally, this is not a fight, but more of a punishment.

Mikey didn’t care about Kiyomasa’s face or name, but he didn’t like the fact that he was organizing a stupid thing called “underground fighting”, so he beat him up in front of everyone, and the underground fighting that was tormenting Takemichi and his friends ended easily.

Mikey makes Nobutaka Osanai faint (chapter 16 of volume 3)

(C)Ken Wakui/Shueisha

The next time Mikey showed his strength was in the chapter of volume 3 of the manga, when he KO’d Nobutaka Osanai, the president of Moebius, with a single high kick.

Osanai was two years older and much bigger than Mikey, but Mikey’s kick to the temple sank him in one blow.

Mikey’s kicks have extraordinary destructive power, but it is the precision with which they strike the opponent’s temple that is the most frightening.

Mikey beats bad boys with a single blow (chapter 43 of Volume 6)

(C)Ken Wakui/Shueisha

Mikey’s strength has been apparent in the past, and his strength is depicted in the reminiscences of Baji in episode 43 of volume 6 of the manga.

In this scene, the members of Tokyo Manji gamg from when it was formed came to Yokohama, and Baji fighted to the bikers there.

They were outnumbered and Baji was protecting Mikey’s beloved Hawk Maru (= a motorbike) when Mikey rushed in and knocked out the leader with a single blow.

We don’t know what happened next, but it seems that all the bikers in the area were beaten up by Mikey.

Mikey beats Chombo, Chome and Kazutora Hanemiya (chapter 55-56 of volume 7)

Mikey beats Chombo, Chome and Kazutora Hanemiya (chapter 55-56 of volume 7)(C)Ken Wakui/Shueisha

The battle scene in episodes 55-56 of volume 7 of the manga emphasises the inhumanity of Mikey’s strength.

In this scene, Mikey is facing three opponents, Kazutora, Chombo and Chome, and he is being attacked by Kazutora, with Chombo strangling his left leg and Chome choking him from behind.

But Mikey, after taking a lot of attacks,

  • After a brief attack, Mikey ripped off the chome and threw him away.
  • He then high kicked Kazutora with chombo who was holding his left leg.

In the process, he knocked three people unconscious in an instant.

If he had the leg strength to lift a man, he could sink anyone with a single high kick.

Mikey knocks out Shuji Hanma with a single blow (chapter 59 of volume 7)

Mikey knocks out Shuji Hanma with a single blow (chapter 59 of volume 7)

(C)Ken Wakui/Shueisha

In the 59th episode of the 7th volume of the manga, Mikey knocked out Shuji Hanma, who was blocking Mikey’s way, with a single high kick.

Shuji Hanma is strong enough to go toe to toe with even Draken, and he has the durability of a zombie to get back up no matter how many times Draken attacks him.

However, in front of Mikey’s strength, such durability does not matter at all, and he is KO’d by one blow.

Incidentally, when the members of Valhalla saw Mikey’s strength, which made Shuji Hanma faint at one shot, they completely lost their will to fight and ran away from the scene.

Mikey Beats up Kazutora Hanemiya (chapter 60 of volume 7)

In the 60th episode of the 7th volume of the manga, Mikey and Hanemiya Kazutora are locked in a battle.

However, due to the difference in strength, it is no longer even a fight, but a one-sided slaughter.

For Mikey, Kazutora was his brother Shinichiro’s revenge, and he had stabbed his childhood friend Baji, so he wielded his fist with a clear intent to kill.

In the end, after Takemichi’s persuasion and seeing Baji’s good luck charm, Mikey came to his senses and did not kill Kazutora.

Mikey knocks out Taiju Shiba (chapter 104-106 of volume 12)

Mikey knocks out Taiju Shiba (chapter 104-106 of volume 12)(C)Ken Wakui/Shueisha

In the 12th volume of the manga, episodes 104-106, we see the battle between Taiju Shiba and Mikey.

Taiju Shiba is undoubtedly the strongest monster we’ve ever seen, a man of unparalleled power and endurance due to his non-standard physique.

The first punch hit Taiju Shiba first and Mikey must have taken a lot of damage, but in the end he KO’d Taiju Shiba with a single high kick.

Mikey’s attire at the time was not battle-worthy by any stretch of the imagination, but even in that condition he was able to leap to get a high kick like a dance into the temple of the taller Taiju Shiba.

Mikey Defeats Izana Kurokawa (chapter 171-174 of volume 20)

Mikey Defeats Izana Kurokawa (chapter 171-174 of volume 20)(C)Ken Wakui/Shueisha

In the 20th volume of the manga, episodes 171-174, we see the culmination of the “Tokyo Manji gang vs Jersey” war, later known as the “Kanto Incident“.

At the end of this war, Mikey and Izana Kurokawa go head to head, and they fight each other more than any other enemy Mikey has faced so far.

Izana Kurokawa has a natural sense of combat, and is able to attack unilaterally without receiving any attacks from his opponent.

He has a natural sense of fighting and can hit an opponent with a one-sided attack without receiving any attack from the opponent, and each of her attacks has the power to make an ordinary opponent faint.

Mikey was on the defensive in the early stages, but he didn’t mind kicking from the top of Izana Kurokawa’s guard, and nearly destroyed his limbs.

Then it was Mikey’s turn, and he landed a decent high kick to Izana Kurokawa’s temple. It wasn’t enough to knock him out, but it was enough to seal the deal.

Mikey Single-handedly destroys a team of bikers (chapter 207 of volume 24)

In episode 207 of volume 24 of the manga, Mikey, who appeared as the president of the “Kanto Manji gang”, showed his inhuman strength by destroying dozens of biker gangs by himself.

Even after the dissolution of the Tokyo Manji gang, the strength of the “invincible Mikey” was not only still alive and well, but had even become more impressive.

You can see that the strength of Izana Kurokawa, who had a great match with Mikey, was also extraordinary.

Mikey overwhelms even South Terano (chapter 232 of volume 26)

Mikey overwhelms even South Terano (chapter 232 of volume 26)(C)Ken Wakui/Shueisha

In episode 232 of volume 26 of the manga, there is a battle between Mikey and South Terano. South Terano is one of the strongest fighters in the Tokyo Revengers, and was called “the same level as Mikey”.

However, even South Terano was quickly rendered incapable of fighting in the face of Mikey’s kicking power, and was beaten to death by Mikey in episode 233.

Mikey’s kick is now a deadly weapon.

So far, we have explained Mikey’s overwhelming strength with his battle record in the manga.

The reason why Mikey has such a strength is explained in episode 123 of volume 14 of the manga.

Mikey’s family runs a karate dojo, and Mikey’s grandpa is the master.

Mikey’s grandfather is the master of the dojo, but Mikey doesn’t like to practice, so he rarely shows up to practice, but he was stronger than anyone else in the dojo.
