Kazutora is one of the founding members of Tokyo Manji gang, but in the story of Tokyo Revengers, he is a senior member of the enemy team.
He was also one of the characters involved in Mikey’s fall to dark side, and his death was key to the “Bloody Halloween” storyline.
We’ll start with a list of the consequences of each timeline to see if Kazutora dies or survives in the future.

[Tokyo Revengers] Kazutora Hanemiya dies in the future!
First, let’s take a closer look at the future of Kazutora’s death.
As you can see from the list above, Kazutora dies after “Bloody Halloween” and “The battle of Christmas”.
Incidentally, the eighth time-leap is just Takemichi returning to gather information, so the situation hasn’t really changed since after the battle of Christmas.
Mikey kills Kazutora Hanemiya on ‘Bloody Halloween’.
First of all, about “Bloody Halloween”, before Takemichi altered the past, Kazutora was killed by Mikey during the battle.
After Takemichi’s 5th time leap, he was told by Draken in the future that Mikey’s murder of Kazutora was the reason for his fall into darkness.
In other words, in the world where Takemichi solved the battle of 8/3, Kazutora was already dead.
From this point on, Takemichi struggled to change the ending of “Bloody Halloween” somehow, and changed the past to the one where Mikey did not kill Kazutora.
This means that the future is changed, as the death of Kazitora 12 years ago no longer occurs.
That’s the world after the sixth time leap, which is described below, and in that world, Kazutora survives.
Mikey kills Kazutora Hanemiya in the future after the battle of Christmas.
When Takemichi returns to the future after the battle of Christmas (after the 7th time leap), he finds that the world has ended in the worst way ever.
In this world, Mikey has fallen into darkness again and all the members of Tokyo Manji gang, including Kazutora, have been killed by Mikey.
Kazutora had been imprisoned for 10 years after “Bloody Halloween”, and the fact that he was killed by Mikey after his release shows that he thoroughly targeted the members of Tokyo Manji gang.
[Tokyo Revengers] Future in which Kazutora Hanemiya does not die!
So far, we have explained the future that Kazutora die.
Next, let’s take a closer look at the future where Kazutora survives without dying.
Takemichi becomes a major executive of Tokyo Manji gang.
After “Bloody Halloween” (after the sixth time leap), the world has changed to one where Takemichi has become a major executive of Tokyo Manji gang.
Even in this world, Mikey has fallen into the darkness, and Tokyo Manji gang is as corrupt as ever. Chifuyu, who was the only one who believed in changing Tokyo Manji gang, was killed by Tetta Kisaki.
In this world, after Kazutora is released from prison, he and Chifuyu work together to track down the evil of Tetta Kesaki and the dirty money of the former Black dragon.
Takemichi is eventually arrested by Naoto, but at least up to that point, Kazutora is still alive.
Kazutora Hanemiya does not die and survives after the “Kanto Incident”.
When Takemichi returns to the future after the “Kanto Incident” (after the 9th time leap), he finds a world where the Tokyo Manji gang organization no longer exists and all the former members of Tokyo Manji gang are still alive.
Kazutora has also been released from prison after serving his sentence, and is now helping out at the pet shop run by Chifuyu.
In this world, the Tokyo Manji gang organization itself doesn’t exist.
However, even in this world, Mikey has fallen into the darkness and has become the leader of a newly formed criminal organization called Bonten.
Having been imprisoned for ten years, Kazutora sees things differently to the other members of the group, and while the others are trying to forget about Mikey, Kazutora still cares about him.
Thanks to Kazutora’s research, Takemichi is able to see Mikey again, and this is where the story takes a new turn.
[Tokyo Revengers] Is Kazutora Hanemiya still alive in the final Arc? What ultimately happens in the future?
Tokyo Revengers is in its final Arc from episode 207. The final Arc takes place in the year 2010, and Takemichi is on a mission to save Mikey.
As of 2010, Kazutora Hanemiya is still incarcerated in a juvenile detention center, so he doesn’t appear, but it’s still unclear what will happen in the future after the final Arc.
In the world after the Kanto Incident, Kazutora Hanemiya is still alive, so hopefully he will be alive in the future and not dead in the final Arc.
Conclusion of “[Tokyo Revengers] Is Kazutora Hanemiya death? How does the future end?”
In this article, I explained the future in which Kazutora Hanemiya dies, the future in which he survives, and the final outcome.
Unlike the other members of Tokyo Manji gang, Kazutora was imprisoned for 10 years, so when he returns to the future, he is a character with a 10-year gap.
In the post-Kanto Incident world, the route is for Kazutora to survive, and hopefully the future will be a world where Kazutora doesn’t die.
