Hakkai Shiba first appeared in the Tokyo Revengers story in the manga volume 9, chapter 71, but at that time he was an adult version.

After that, he reappeared in the bowling alley where Takemichi made a time leap (chapter 77 of volume 9 of the manga), and in the story, he is the vice-captain of 2nd division of Tokyo Manji gang.

As I mentioned at the beginning, Hakkai is so tall that it’s hard to believe he’s the same age as Takemichi, and officially he’s 183cm.

Whether it’s fighting or martial arts, the basic rule remains the same: the bigger the body, the stronger the fighter, so it can be said that Hakkai is blessed with a good body for fighting.

Let’s take a look at the strength of Hakkai in detail.

[Tokyo Revengers] Scenes showing the strength of Hakkai Shiba! His height is quite tall for his age!

When he first appeared in the bowling alley, Hakkai Shiba was a big man, but he seemed friendly and kind.

On the other hand, his strength is tremendous, as he is the vice-captain of the Tokyo Manji gang.

The strength of Hakkai Shiba is first revealed in chapter 79 of volume 9 of the manga.

After quickly making friends with Takemichi at the bowling alley, Hakkai invited Takemichi and Hinata to his house, but in front of his house, the members of the Black Dragon have gathered.

Because Takemichi was the captain of 1st division in Tokyo Manji gang, his face was exposed, and the Black Dragons came close to destroying him on the spot.

However, Hakkai silenced the mob of Black Dragons by using his height to his advantage, KO’ing them with a right hand.

In the case of Hakkai, he did something awful by smashing his opponent’s head into the ground with the punch he landed.

As for Hakkai Shiba’s KO punch, it is demonstrated in chapter 155 of volume 18 of the manga.

Here, at the very beginning of the Kanto Incident, a war with Tenjiku, he KO’d a Tenjiku mob member who had attacked Takemichi with one shot.

As the vice-captain of 2nd division in Tokyo Manji gang, you can see that he’s strong enough to knock out a member of the enemy team in one shot.

So far, I have told you that the punch of Hakkai Shiba has the destructive power of a one-shot KO at the mob level.

Here, let’s take a look at his fight scenes and results.

As I mentioned earlier, Hakkai Shiba’s first battle scene is depicted in chapter 79 of volume 9 of the manga.

He KOs a mob of Black Dragons with a single shot by slamming them into the ground with his downward right, which shows that his big body is not half as powerful as he is.

A blow to the trauma of life, Taiju Shiba (Vol. 12, chapter 102)

The blow that could be said to have changed Hakkai Shiba’s life is described in chapter 102 of volume 12 of the manga.

In this scene, at the climax of the battle of Christmas, Hakkai awakened by the fury of Takemichi and Takashi Mitsuya.

And he hit his brother, Taiju Shiba, with a straight right hand.

Hakkai had never been able to resist Taiju in his life, and had been so deflated that he had been unable to move since the start of the battle of Christmas, but with the support of Takemichi, Takashi Mitsuya and Chifuyu Matsuno, he was able to overcome his trauma.

Although he was no match for Taiju, it was a passionate scene in which Hakkai overcame one of the obstacles in his life.

KOing the Tenjiku Mob (Vol 18, chapter 155)

As I mentioned earlier, shortly after the start of the Kanto Incident, a war with Tenjiku, Hakkai Shiba KO’d a mob.

The only mob KO scene in Kanto Incident is this one, but after this, Hakkai must have defeated quite a few mob members of Tenjiku.

Hakkai is so strong that he can defeat the opponents instantly if they are not a captain or a Four Heavenly Kings class strength.

Battle with Haitani brothers (Vol 18, chapter 160 – 162)

Battle with Haitani brothers (Vol 18, chapter 160 - 162)(C)Ken Wakui/Shueisha

In the middle of “Kanto Incident”, it’s a battle between the pair of Hakkai Shiba and Angry, and Haitani brothers.

Each of Haitani brothers is much stronger than the other mob in Tenjiku. And their fighting style is as follows.

  • Rindou Haitani defeats his opponent using the joint techniques.
  • Ran Haitani uses a baton to finish him off.

The combination of winning patterns was outstanding, besides, super poor combination of Hakkai and Angry, was outnumbered from start to finish.

It’s quite severe even with the strength of Hakkai if his opponents are at the level of the captain or the four heavenly kings.
