First of all, here is a list of characters who are confirmed dead because they died at a point in the past in the story of Tokyo Revengers.

Takemichi can’t time leap to any date he wants, he can only time leap to “exactly 12 years ago counting from the future (or 10 years ago in the last Arc)”.

[Tokyo Revengers] List of characters who died in the future after each time leap!

Takemichi was unable to make a time leap even after shaking hands with Naoto in 2018, but when he shook hands with Mikey, he made a time leap back 10 years to June 2008. This is the tenth time he has done so.

The world of 2008 is the final Arc of Tokyo Revengers, and Takemichi works hard to prevent Mikey from falling into darkness.
